3.Private - Best of Kefalonia (8 hours)

Begin with a short drive to the St Andreas Monastery, an important destination for the pilgrims, as it is believed to hold the right foot of Saint Andrew. Upon arrival, discover existing wall paintings and icons found around the monastery. Head towards Melissani Lake, drive along the foothills of Mount Ainos – the highest on the island – and admire the views. Arrive at the natural wonder, which was once a cave. In 1953, the earthquake brought down the roof of the cave allowing the sun’s rays to illuminate the water. Capture the flicking of light on the turquoise waters as you float inside the cave on a rowing boat. Next, visit Assos. 4. Private - Kourkoumelata village, Monastery & Winery (4 hours)

We start with a visit to Kourkoumelata, a 40-minute drive away. After the 1953 earthquake, a wealthy Kefalonian ship owner reconstructed the village. Today it is well maintained and built in neoclassic architectural style. With some free time choose to either explore or relax in the village square. Continue to Agios Gerasimos Monastery, which is considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Kefalonia. Begin with a drive around the scenic bay of Argostoli before passing Mt. Ainos. Arrive in Karavomilos where you can see Melissani Lake. This lake lies in a cave with a collapsed roof. Reach it through an underground tunnel for a short boat ride. 6. Private - Drogarati Cave & Melissani Lake (6 hours)

Begin with a drive around the scenic bay of Argostoli before passing Mt. Ainos. Descend to the port of Sami towards Drogarati cave.
